Privacy Policy
What Jolt12 collects, why, and what you can make us do about it.
Last updated 26 August 2026 · WickedSelf LLC
The short version
We collect an email address if you make an account, and we record how far you have got in the game. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and you can play the daily game without giving us anything at all.
Who is responsible
WickedSelf LLC, 2810 N Church St #578615, Wilmington, DE 19802, United States, is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us at support@wickedself.com.
What we collect
If you create an account: your email address, and a record of when you signed in. We use email as the only sign in method, so we never hold a password.
Your progress: which levels you have cleared, your scores, streaks and records, and whether you have paid access. This is tied to your account so it survives changing device.
On your device, not on our servers: if you play without an account, all of the above stays in your browser’s local storage and we never see it. The same storage holds your sound and coach preferences.
Automatically: our host records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the service running.
Why we are allowed to
We process your email to give you the account you asked for, which is performance of our agreement with you. We process progress data for the same reason. We keep server logs because we have a legitimate interest in the service not falling over or being attacked.
Who else touches it
We use a small number of processors, and only for the purpose of running Jolt12: Vercel hosts the application, and Supabase provides the database and the sign in system. They act on our instructions. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone for advertising or any other purpose, and we never have.
Cookies and similar
We set a cookie to keep you signed in. We use local storage to hold your game progress and your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross site tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click past.
How long we keep it
Account and progress data is kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete it and we will, within 30 days, except where we are required to keep a record of a transaction for tax purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@wickedself.com and we will action it.
If you are in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we will not treat you differently for asking. If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you additionally have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to data portability, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children
Jolt12 is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their information, write to support@wickedself.com and we will delete it.
Where your data is
Our processors operate in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred there and handled under this policy.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will make it visible in the app before the change takes effect rather than quietly editing this page.
